After taking a few more days off from working on the smoker for our anniversary and such I got a little more done this evening. Got all my 6 inch spring handles installed and the rails for the slide out racks. I also got the outline marked out on the trailer where the FB will be recessed in the bed.
Well after spending 2 days in Houston and fixing a water main leak this morning I got a chance to work on the smoker. Got the intake and latch on the FB. The exh. stack plenum is done and got the first burn out done. Now its ready to go on the trailer and finish up the small stuff.
Got a little more done tonight. FB is on, heat baffle welded in between CC and FB, and I welded in diverter plates in the top corners of the FB. I guess I'm to the point to do a couple burn ins to clean out the tank. Then Ill get the rack slides welded in and start building the slide out cooking...
Got a little more done on the smoker. FB is just about done and I got the cut out for it to meet with the CC. I changed the dimensions on the FB. It is 24"wide 20"tall and 28" deep. It will inset into the CC about 4" so I will have just enough shelf space for a water pan.
