    My first UDS build

    The temp stayed at 248-250 the whole time.YAY! But as soon as I took the food off the grill, it went to 400 and stayed for about 20 min.WTF?

    As you can see, I used old wrenches for handles and boxed in the drawers to make the charcoal compartment. The bottom drawer is still independent so I can pull it out for cleaning.

    setting at the kitchen table the other morning and had this idea flash into my head. i don't know if it's been done or not but what about a toolbox grill? a tailgater. THAT BOTTOM GRATE IS DEEPER THAN IT APPEARS IN THIS PHOTO. TODAY I'LL CUT THE VENT HOLES AND ADD HANDLES. Then sandblast...
