    Pulled pork enchilada's

    You inspired me to use my weekend leftover pulled pork to make enchiladas. Used cilantro, kosher salt, garlic powder, Cayenne, chopped onion, and fresh lime in my guacamole. Didn't taste half bad. Thanks for the idea. JB

    Just got an Apple tree!!

    I have an apple tree, peach tree, pear tree, and pecan tree to trim in the next week. Will the small 1/2 branches on the apple, and pear tree be good for smoking?

    The IT temp is now at 115. Just sprayed it with applejuice mixed with Captain Morgan's spiced rum. I started smoking by doing ribs first. Guess I was a little backwards since this is my first B. butt.

    It's been at least 45 minutes since I cranked up the GOSM smoker, and it's only up to 182. Guess the 48 degree weather is holding the temp down. Just have to be patient.
