    Thanks for the tips! I was gonna use Header Paint. Just cuz it's says 2000 degrees. Would that be a bad idea? Or it doesn't matter. I heard peanut oil is the best? I've only used it to fry so idk.

    New From Texas!

    Hey everyone! My second post but I figure I introduce myself. I'm originally from El Paso and move to central Texas and want to become more TEXAS and Smoke my meat. Just got me a OLD Oklahoma joe but I've "smoked" a brisket on a propane grill. Hopefully I gain some knowledge here.
