    My Mini WSM build

Thanks, I do!! Thanks Keith, you were a great help! I'm sure it's going to get really dirty lol...I just threw some beef ribs on, those should grease it up good.  Thanks Case, I read all your mini posts, and they were a huge help! For the next steps, I'm making some stencils for a paint job...

Thanks! Once you get all the parts, it really is easy to put together. I had it all done and ready to go in about 2 hours.

    My Mini WSM build

There are a lot of threads about these builds so I won't go into too much detail. But here's how my mini build went. First thing I did was make the charcoal basket. Two 3 inch strips of expanded steel, secured to the Joe charcoal rack with stainless steel wire. I used 1/4" x 3/4" stainless...

    The Continuous Reverse Sear Thread!

I agree, I never flip during the smoking process. Only when doing the sear.

BBQ Guru on a mini WSM?

When burning from the edge out, do you put the hot coals on the side opposite the IQ?  I really like this idea! Oh, and love the hillbilly grate handles too....lol.

BBQ Guru on a mini WSM?

Nice bark on that butt!! And I'm jealous of the long, easy cook. My current smoker doesn't minion well at all, so I'm really looking forward to doing this on the mini.  Excellent, that's the pot I ordered, thanks.

BBQ Guru on a mini WSM?

Mmm, that looks great! I ended up getting a SJ gold, just because it'll be easier to hook up the Guru. Yours looks like it's burning, great, though. And you've got some nice stay-cool handles on your pot too. Did it come that way, or did you add those?

My mini WSM build with IQ 110

Very nice, I'm amazed that you have that much charcoal left after a 7 hour burn!! I'm really excited to build mine now. I was wondering too, if the IQ would make the fire burn unevenly on one side. But it looks like that wasn't an issue. Anyway, great job!!
