    That is what it cost me per gallon to have my  two 500 gal tanks filled last August.  I used to deliver propane some years ago, so i installed a wet line on my bulk tank specifically for filling my grill tanks and other stuff.

    I would suggest cold smoking  (no additional heat than ambient, and what the AMNPS puts out).  As far as times, I know I can get 10 hours out of a full AMNPS with pellets.  People say that the dust doesn't produce as much heat.  I only use pellets, so i can not say.  BTW  a mix of hickory and...

    I pay $1.79/ gallon for a tank fill.  Doesn't matter what size tank 20lb-100lb.  (I have a wet line on my house tank )

    You are right, The Cav never gets lost.  BTW that $42.50 is for a 1.75 liter bottle not a 750 milliliter bottle.

    Yes, they went in the freezer for about 2hrs.  the slicer had no problem cutting the slices.

    DONE!!!! One thing I would do differently is increase the salt.  I used 1/3 cup of Kosher salt.  next time, i might bump that up to 1/2 cup in the brine , due to the larger grains size of Kosher salt.  Would also do more than one belly at one time.  I don't think this batch of bacon is...
