I'm cooking BB ribs today @225* for 2-2-1.
my brother brought over some fresh jalapeno sausage so I'm going to throw those on.
Approx how long will the sausages take to cook them at 225*. They are average about 1" diameter (typical store bought size)
thanks-
brian
so... just where did you get the Oro Blanco grapefruits from? Those are the wife's(and mine) favorite. We had tree in SoCal and have had no luck finding trees or the fruit in Sacramento.
thanks.

I win the most embarrising car... A 1974 AMC gremlin with various colors of body parts. Bought it for $400, put a battery and starter in it. sold it to a college gal 2 years later for $400. I bought it from my boss. The day I registered it, that night someone stole the hood and dash parts. ...
see my post #159. I should have sent it to you.
before I drilled the holes, lower temp smoking left too much moisture in the cabinet. I also used a reasonable inexpensive silicone weather stripping from Home depot $13-17. enough for two units.
I drilled out the back, top hole a little bit...
I think he has the analog version, that is what I have.
I drilled the top. back, left corner with a 3" hole saw and a 3" elbow fitting from Home Depot. I also drilled a 2) 5/8" holes on the bottom, right, middle underneath the chip tray(where I use an amzn pellet tray. I use the piece of round...
Well, I guess what I'm trying to ask is that does the exposed part of the probe have the ability to transfer heat to the tip? I'm asking this becauseI seemed to have temp issues when I was smoking salmon. The pieces were small, so most of the probe was exposed to the heat of the smoker, which...
I have a question about the use of probes. The type you place inside the meat for long periods of time, not the instant read type
Is there a rule of thumb on how much of the probe lenght should be inserted into the meat? I know that it should be in the thickest part of the meat, which deteimes...

the ice/bold test are off a few degrees, but at the price, I can live with that. All I needed was a box to put it in(FRYS/Radio Shack) and a few grommets(Frys /Home Deotpot/Ace...

When I lived in Ocean Shores,Wa., there was a guy in Hoquim that carved old fisherman, mermaids and a plethera of other things.
I went though a double fusion of C5/6/7 back in 2000. I wore a cevical collar for at least a month. The majority of the pain I had was the soreness in my thoat from the tubes/moving the tracea, not the incisions or fusion. My incision was just above the collar bone. Hardest part was having...
I have the older version MB smoker(analogue type). I purchased a silcone seal at home depot that, so far, seams to be working

That is some bacon. I doubt you bought those bellies at the IGA in town.
Seeing those makes me really want to give it a try now that I have "mastered" salmon

I finished up a batch of salmon last week using your recipe with a few exceptions. I added some light brown sugar and substituted ancho chile powder for the cayanne pepper.
6 hours in the brine. Only mistake I made was bumping the temp to 102* instead of 120* afer the 1st hour. The meat was...
these aren't cohos but they are a great way to practice my brining/smoking.
from what I saw, they look more like silver/cohos than "dogs". Without the head, it's some what hard to tell. I'll part them out. the belly meat for tuna salad, the tail end will be for baking when the weatheris too...

I din't buy enough last year. time for me to make up for that!
Have you had any success getting your unit to work better?
By your description, you have the 30" analogue version(no the MES 30/40), just like me.
Inquiring minds want to know...
Let me know when it's a good time to call you. It seems you have a lot on your plate dealing with others and sales/marketing and of course, your family(BTDT). Today is not necessary
I'm on the west coast at less than 25' elevation and temps are reasonable at this time of the year. right now...
