I know folks who used the formerly ubiquitous Brinkmann Gourmet smokers sans water pan and lower food grate, especially for skin-on chicken. One person that did this said for him, ECB stood for Excellent Chicken Broiler.
In any event this technique no matter what style of cooker, fits what...
The only B&B Charcoal product I know of sold in 30 lb. bags is the Char Logs. Where are you getting the 30 lb. bags of B&B Lump Charcoal?
My nearest Sam's Club abruptly stopped carrying Frontier Lump Charcoal in 30 lb. bags, and I like purchasing the 30 lb. Club sized bags of lump charcoal, so...
You'd think there'd be enough competition for carrion in the tropics, not only from other insects like flies feeding their young by laying eggs in it but many other forms of life, to make nectar appear far less competed for.
It's also 180° opposite of honey, an antimicrobial substance, as food...
That looks fantastic! I'm like you insofar as too many recipes & restaurants are too heavy handed with the cilantro. A little fresh cilantro is all that's needed for complementary, not overpowering, flavor.
I love charro beans, but they're on my "Highly Not Recommended" dietary item lists for...
I'm in San Antonio, not Austin, but there are a lot of the same chain stores in both.
The HEB Plus! store nearest our house regularly has USDA Prime briskets available, and sometimes American Wagyu cuts from Snake River Farms (SRF). I cooked up a nice USDA Prime Tri-Tip yesterday evening cost...
59 years old currently in the San Antonio Texas area. Started with a Cook'n Cajun smoker at 13 years old as smokers go, and I still have & use the original Portable Kitchens cast aluminum grill my mother bought in the mid-70's.
Welcome from San Antonio Texas!
My wife & I have visited and dove on all 3 of the Cayman Islands! We got our baby tec certs (ANDI TSD-3) using shore dives from Turle Reef back when DiveTec operated that site, before Cobalt Coast existed. We always enjoyed visiting there, no real worries about...
Sounds like Burr Oak is right. Says largest acorns.

I've never seen such large acorns either so I guess I haven't ever been under a burr oak tree. Bet the wildlife love those, but I can't picture a chipmunk with one of those in each cheek!
Condolences regarding the loss of these individuals.
Not saying this is the only avenue to try to make some sort sense of this but I'm posting it in hopes these thoughts might be helpful.
Myocarditis and pericarditis have openly been issues of concern in the public domain regarding COVID-19...
I've been using these for starting my charcoal in a chimney starter, they've always worked well for me. They're a significant step up from the Weber starter cubes IMO / IME. These ZIP cubes (12 / box) are larger than these Duraflame cubes (18 / box). Otherwise they appear identical...
FWIW I didn't toss my factory Char Broil porcelainized food grate until it had lost significant coating and became rusty. That's implied in my 2 prior posts but I suppose not fully spelled out. I don't fault my spiral design cleaning brush but the quality of the process used by whoever Char...
