I made one of these today, but it was really windy so i had to finish cooking it in the oven a little. It came out really good and my family was impressed that the taste was so good.
One thing I thought about, was maybe next time I'll put the sweet rub on the bacon mat before rolling it around...
I made three very good batches of beer about ten years ago. I kinda got too busy to keep doing it, and had to sell all my equipment when I moved.
I may get back into it someday, but probably not real soon. I do miss the smell of wort cooking in the kitchen though.

I am new to smoking, and want to ask about those temperature probes. Is each one of those connected to an analog gauge, or are they wired to some kind of digital interface?
When I saw them, I imagined you have them somehow connect...
