    Memorial Day Weekend Smoke......Rabbit!.......Qview!

    Good for you. We went out and out of three of us we came home with one. But we have plenty from the rest of the season to smoke. I didn't get my first rabbit of the season until last week. I was using a "jinxed" gun. My wife jinxed it last year and I didnt shoot a rabbit since until last week.

    Sprky, yes that is the slicer. It didn't work for me and my bacon. It might be better for bigger stuff but not for what I was doing

    Alot of mothers side of the family is in zeli, and my wife works there, we go down to Balldingers at least a couple times a year. Im in New Castle. Small world huh!

    The slicing went good. The frozen slabs definately sliced easier, but they do tend to thaw fast. Check out my bacon in this section.

    And now for the sliced pictures. I put 4 of the 6 slabs in the freezer for 9 hrs before slicing and it definately made it easier to slice. I have 2 slicers, one is my trusty old low end slicer. The other was a new one from JCPenny. I tried the new one and it didnt work right, even with the...
