    The piece in the half size chip loader is spot welded, not riveted...at least on mine. you will just have to grind the welds a bit and it should fall right out.

    Electric smoker ?

    You could fix your Masterbuilt and then buy a Char-Broil "The Big Easy" for crisping the skin.  Smoke the bird until it's about 140 degrees and then transfer it to the EZ to finish it off.  Works great!
