I rarely use anythng other than Kingsford Blue and I often employ the minion method. I don't know if its my unrefined pallet or what but I've never experienced an aftertaste nor have I had any complaints. And my wife will tell you like it is haha.
You've got to name that man...I'll be thinkin. Sometimes a mish mash of leftovers makes a damn good meal. Thats kinda pot pie ish. My mom does something similar with leftover thanksgiving turkey every year. Sour cream is the secret ingredient.
