In my experience, Horizon's QC is pretty good. I'm not sure if this was just a bad one that got through or has had something happen to it after it left the production floor. I'm guessing when you switched tanks, you might have jostled the safety valve that shuts the tank off when it falls over. I've dropped them to the ground too hard and done this. To me, this should be the ultimate in a backyard smoker! You will have several different heat zones to assist you in getting the best out of your meats.
