    I wonder if you could get a universal adjustable thermostat and wire it in. Such as one used on vehicles that have electric fans?

    In my opinion, I wouldn't make that many racks... I don't know of anything that you will be smoking that is only 1/2" thick. Even ribs are at least 1" thick.     What if this was put on the exhaust... would it create draft correctly and being heat through or would it just suck out all the hot air? This is an inline duct fan.
