Who Makes Their Own Seasonings (Rubs)

I have mixed my own in the past and still do on occasion, but shakers of BBQ rub and spice mixes make such good gifts that I normally am kept in stock on one or several that way

    Hoar-able Weather!

Love the hoar frost. I spent a winter in Fairbanks, AK. The trees look like that nearly all winter long due to the temp inversion and the city getting nearly no wind in the winter. It will also scare the crap out of you in the mountains though as it is one of the leading contributors to...

    Texas Hot Links

@Dave in AZ, thanks for the like. I looked at that one. Seems like a very nice unit, but at $159 I can get a LEM standalone grinder for less. From reading reviews here and elsewhere it looks like the weak link in the LEM #8 Countertop is the plastic gears which they sell for $2.99 so cheap...

    Texas Hot Links

Had half a chuck roast left over after making some beef stroganoff earlier in the week. Wanted to make some sausage and settled on Texas hot links. Followed Chud BBQ's recipe for the most part, except I cut back on the cayenne by 25% and omitted the turmeric as I didn't have any. I broke the...

We are in the same boat as @TNJAKE, used to use TurboTax when the taxes were easy, but use a CPA now. There are also free filing options at irs.gov https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free
