    Looking to Build My First RF Smoker

    IMHO..... if using a 55 gal drum.... I'd go with a double barrel smoker. Takes two barrels, but awesome smokers.

    Door Warpage Issue???

    You can take 2x4's or similar and place it either outside or inside your door...whichever you need depending on the bend you need.... then take a couple wide cargo straps (the good ones) and cinch it up real tight and let it sit. Might help.

    Once again, the weekend descended on me and I wasn't able to get my smoker finished. Still awaiting some parts, AND the band had a couple shows to do, so time just wasn't in my favor. Also...once again my family wanted me to grill and smoke some food AND my friend whom borrowed my patio smoker...

    Feldon's calculator is the one I used....guess everyone does. Can google that, or look up member Dave Omack and see the link on his signature line. On the double barrel smokers I've helped with...there hasn't really been that much of an issue with temp differential. Saying that.... I don't...
