Hey guy I am looking for a wilrell model, preferable with two probes to be used with my smoker. I have had the Maveric et-73 that lasted all of two-three months before dying, so I'd like to find another option.... Any info will be great, thank you!
I usally only make about 2 1/2-3 pounds of sausage at a time, so my grinder works pretty well. Still even at that small of an amount it is a real pain at time to use the grinder to make links. I would say that when possible deff get a stuffer should be well worth it. In the mean time a jerky gun...
I do not have one of thouse smokers but have read excellent reviews of it. I'm sure after a smoke or two you'll get it just fine.. I know others whom do have it, are able to keep there temp in the range they want.... Just another reason that smoking is so fun....
That seems pretty high too me. I have never done a brisket above 230, and I prefer 200-220. Deffnetly foil when IT temp reached 165 or so. And Take pics, and let us know how it all turns out.... Have fun!
I'd problebly start it first thing, never have been real keen of staying up with the smoker... And setting the maveric next to the bed, just keeps me waching it ... lol
Decided to do a littel brisket today... Came out pretty tasty. Smoked over messy wood @ 210-220 for just under 8 hours. Rubbed naked with Cracked black, kosher salt, cumin, chillie pepper, onion and garlic salt. Oh and a bit of dark brown sugar.
I was sent this link from someone and thought that some people here might find it as usefull as I have...

Hey everyone, like the titel says I am looking for a new dehydrator. I have a cheap nesco that does the job, the problem is that it has no temp controle, and is pretty loud. The only way to turn it on or off is to either plug it in, or unplug it.
So I thought I would ask here to see if anyone...
Thank you, I am pretty happy with this one. Chuckies have always been an interesting challange for me. In many ways Briskets are alot easyer.. I am begining to learn them though...
