    I'm excited! I just purchased a Big Chief electric smoker for the sole purpose of making jerky. I cant wait to see how good it tastes compared to the ol' liquid smoke i've been using for years with my dehydrator.

    I also own a nesco dehydrator, which I've had for over 5 years. I 've made tons of jerky on mine. The highest setting it will "dial" to is 155 degrees.
