Added pics, they seem to have some good ideas. They are into UDS too.
I ran across this when I was looking for Weber Q mods. Seems like they do some really good work. I thought it was interesting.
Well, I was looking at this on my blackberry's web browser. I couldn't tell the size of the tank. Now that I'm at an actual computer, I see the real size of it. I should have told him yes, I hesitated. The guy emailed me this morning though and said it was sold.
I'd like something a little bit bigger diameter so this won't work for me. I'm just outside of chicago. here is the craigslist ad. The guy says he still has it, but has several people interested.

$30! I got an email into the guy. We'll see if he still has it.
Yes, I've seen the water that can form in the bottom of compressor on a daily basis. I used to work at a machine shop that had VERY large ones and would have to drain them daily. Good point about the rust.
20" in diameter...
I may have a chance to get a 60 air compressor tank. How would it work as a smoker? how thick are these usually? Is it big enough? It's a horizontal air compressor tank.
Looks nice! I've never seen that one before. I was looking at it on Char-broil's website. One thing though, if that's the same ash catcher that I have on my Char-broil kettle grill your going to hate it. The dampers get stuck in the catcher itself. Very poor design and are hard to adjust...
I am about to sell my propane grill. I've been using the side burner as a chimney starter so I was planning on buying this within the next few weeks. Let me know how it works out!
I love my Char-griller smoking pro. I think I would rather buy one of those more expensive heavy duty units though. I may upgrade to a Lang or one of the other guys on here was talking about Bell Fabrications in Tulsa that makes a good unit.
Thanks for getting it back up again! I was also having withdrawls! Supposed to be nice here this weekend, but rainy! :( I was thinking of smoking a roast(weather permitting)! If I do, Q-view! :)
btw..i like the new look!
You can buy a smoke stack from Char-griller for a CGSP. I believe it's like $20 something shipped, but they are nice and light. I bought one for one of my projects.

This is a great deal! I have one of these and they are awesome! $50 Weber Q100 gas grill, rolling cart and utensils.
I don't have a Kingsford but I have a Char-broil 22.5" that was made by another company for Charbroil that I bought from Menards for $38. I love it for what it is, but it's not as well made as a weber. also, the dampers in the ash catch stink bad. They are hard to close, but I love the hinged...
I got the same treatment when I asked at multiple Home Depots and Menards. No one knew what it was and where the sheet metal is, there is none. So I know exactly what your talking about!
