Imagine my surprise.
I'm away from the site for a week and when I come back, it's completely different.
So, I've been sitting here for about an hour looking around and I have a couple of questions.
1. I can insert photos directly from my computer, but have not been able to do it from my...
Well, I decided to smoke a couple of butts today. Last night I got the smoker cleaned up and ready to go. While I was doing that I decided to raise the charcoal basket a little higher in the firebox. My thinking was that it would put it closer to the level of the opening to the smoke chamber and...
I'm 59. Been grilling for ever, but bought a SNP about 10 years ago. Never really did much smoking on it, used it mostly for grilling. I don't even remember why I suddenly got interested in smoking all of a sudden, but I quickly found out I didn't know anything about it. Maybe it's because I...
Actually, you can set any temp you want with the Polder dual probe. Just scroll through the pre-set meat types until "PGM" (program) comes up and you can set any temp you want on each probe individually.
Was at the local Sam's Club yesterday and of course I had to see what they had for charcoal. There was a huge stack of Frontier lump in 40 lb. bags. The price was only $14.95 which I thought sounded pretty good. As a comparison, the Kingsford briquets were the same price for a package of two 20...
My first car too! '53 Mercury Monterey. Mine was a 2dr, white with red top, same engine but mine was a 3 speed trans. Built like a tank.
I was working after school at a Chevrolet dealership cleaning up around the shop. They took it on a trade for a new Chevrolet. They let me have it for $50...
Ron, this is the same one I've been looking at. We know someone that has one and I've read a whole bunch of reviews on it. Sounds like just the ticket for me.
I was looking at it on QVC. They have the same price, but I don't think it comes with the extra blade from them, would have to buy it...
Great thread!
I love all kinds of dogs. This is Buster. We always said he was the best dog in the world. He adored kids. It was amazing how much he would put up with from them. If they got to where they got on his nerves, he'd just get up and walk away. He never growled or snapped at them. We...
I have two of those exact ones. Mine were dead on right out of the package, but of course you don't know that unless you check them first anyway.
If you do need to calibrate, there is a screw on the back to adjust them.
Just be aware of the mess it will make. Be sure you use it in a place you won't mind having sand, because it will get into everything.
Made the mistake of using one in the garage one winter because I had some things I wanted to clean but didn't want to be out in the cold. We figured we would...
They call it Southwest Iowa. We're right east of Omaha, Nebraska. In fact I only live 1 1/2 miles from there. I work in Downtown Omaha. Takes me 7 minutes to get to work.
This is the most snow I've seen in 3 years. I was begining to think about selling my snowblower. In the last two years, I've only used it three times and one of those times was just to give it something to do for a while.
