My local butcher (Ely's, in Washington's crossing, PA) is not cheap, but their meats are phenomenal. I usually ask for an 80-90# cleaned and butterflied pig. Last year was 86# and cost was around $3.50/lb. So this one was around $300. I think it is expensive, but they are one of the only places...
