You are getting there... Looking at your pics I am guessing that only one stack vents and the other is for looks? If so is your stack damper inside of the stack and at the height it's installed will that effect the air flow? I am only asking cause all the calc sheets give a finish stack height...

Well this week was shot for working on the smoker!!! First family came in to town for a few days then the weather man struck fear into everyone in south Florida with this wanna be storm. So I man to get a few things done. Finished the FB door and ash pan (need to trim) and got the racks started.
I'm guessing the door may wait around 30-35lbs 1/4 steel. Opens easy and smooth the best part I don't have to add counter weight or any clutter... When I got the tank it was painted white so being cheap for (sand blasting) I bought stripper and with a little elbow grease it came really easy...
Here is the style I used and I don't need a counter wait or prop. I simply open the door to about 90* and like magic it stays open and I love it. Nice and clean.

I am still working on mine cause I am really trying not to over look anything. I decided that for more CC space the Plenum would be the way to go. I can not say for sure where you could or should put yours but on mine the bottom of the Plenum sits about 1.5 inches above my lower rack...
