I had to read that seven or eight times to figure out what you were actually trying to say. Unless you actually meant it that way. In that case, I'm not here to judge :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing: :emoji_laughing:
Looks good!
I do sliced chuck when I get the motivation for meal prepping for lunches. I'll slice it and partition it off into individual sandwich portions and vacuum seal. Then all I have to do in the morning is grab a packet of beef, a slice of cheddar, and a bun. It reheats really well just...
I'm still working at learning the ins and outs of my offset, but I've been adding my splits perpendicular to each other. So the first time I add, I'll go orient the splits left to right, and when its time for more, they go in straight away form me. So the pattern is like + or #, depending on if...
Thats the way the weather is here, too. My office mate took these two days off and decided to do some beef ribs. He was cooking on a kamado, so I suggested he roll it into the sun to save on charcoal :emoji_laughing:
Yup. Mistakes were made. I know you're saying you won't make them again, but the best advice is be prepared, because mistakes will be made again. Maybe even the same exact ones. Happens to everyone.
I use sauce for certain things, but sparingly. On a standard PP sammich, for example, I'm going with just a drizzle. Any time I see a bathtub of sauce soaked pulled pork, I'm just walking the other way.
I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't done a lot of cooks. But my daughter turned 8 last week, and she requested her all time favorite meal. Smoked tri tip. The first time she had it was a camping trip, right before she turned 5. It was my first time cooking it and the kettle got damaged on...
I'm lucky enough to not get sick of foods. I grew up in the construction industry. Seems like those of us that bring their lunch eat the same deli cut sandwich day after day and the ones that buy get the same thing from the same gas station day after day.
Definitely another thing that's key.
Not sure why people always say that cast iron heats evenly. They will in the oven, but Definitely not on a burner.
This is my method for steaks, and I always get what I consider a perfect sear. A dark golden crust with no black. Of course, everyone has they're own tastes, but I made it a hobby for a couple years to learn how to make the perfect steak to match my own tastes. And I'm proud to say that I've...
That looks amazing! My wife is from the Detroit area, so its a regular request in my house.
I use the recipe from King Arthur four to the tee, and it comes out perfect every time.
It doesn't matter what I'm there for, I always walk through the clearance sections. A few years ago, I found a bunch of salmon trolling rods. Usually $60, but they had them for $18 each. Walked out with seven of them. This winter, I found a camping kitchen table setup for $30, usually $80.
I...
I'm the kind of guy who bases my opinion of every bar or casual restaurant I go to strictly on their burger. And I would happily destroy every one of those!
But just my opinion, the rabbit food can stay on the side.
Thanks. I'll take a look the next time I'm there to see how they look. I just checked online, and they're only $4.83/lb, so I might have to buy a rack to distract me from doing my chores this weekend.
I but the full roasts every time they go on sale. Once at Christmas and then again at Easter...
