    I've had mine for over a year now, and have had great results with everything I've cooked. I have no mods & my unit holds temps great where I set it at. I have not experienced the great customer service as of yet, because I have had zero problems. Just a good solid pit!

    Ordered mine on a Thursday @ 4:30pm & had it the following Tuesday in central Illinois. Of course this was in February, demand wasn't that high probly @ that time of year tho.

    Glad to hear you like it, thanks for the response on the pellets. I have some 2" thick chops I'm going to smoke to about 125 degrees @ 225, then crank her up & finish with a sear on the Grill Grates I ordered with my Rec Tec.

    I got a Rec Tec 2 months ago & it's great! How were the Pit Boss pellets from Menards? It would be nice to take a quick drive to pick up pellets in a pinch.
