Not sure really...my drawing is very crude at best...why not
1 - Drill a hole in the pipe
2 - insert damper
3- run a bolt through the hole above the damper
4 - wield it to the damper piece
5- wield a lever to the bolt opposite of the bolt head.
dunno...see what you think...or anyone else...

I have an Oklahoma Joes Longhorn...it leaks like a sive around the door (thats another post). I was interested in insulating it...but from the inside.
There are times when it just wont hold steady temps and is really frustrating. The leaks around the Pit Door are because the door...
that looks pretty cool...actually just moving the stack makes total sense.
Now, my hope is to have steady temps everywhere....in all cooking chambers...I think this may do it.

I actually have the vertical all ready....I hate messing with it using lump...I need to convert it to elec or something and at the same time I wanted to increase my cooking space on my Ok Joe.
