    My wiring is very similar to kbarnes12's post factory controller bypassed. It seems that all he did was essentially connect the red and black. All other wiring suggestions also included white to blue? So what happens if you don't connect white to blue?

    Bought an MES 40 8/22, 10/23 the control panel stopped working. Contacted Masterbuilt support, they no longer carried the part, suggested 3rd party supplier, installed new panel and in the middle of my first smoke this year it just shut off. When I powered it back up it read GIPX on the screen...
