I've been looking at the links for the remote thermometers and have a question concerning the wire from the probe to the transmitter. I have a MES that has a seal like a refrigerator on the door. Do you just close the door on the wire and hope it seals or.....?

How about that ! Although I didn't know what they were I actually made some yesterday and grilled them. Girlfriend bought me a contraption where you can stack them and they don't fall through. Kind of like an elevated pan with holes in it. I stuffed mine with sausage, sauteed onion and shreaded...

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm getting a bit tired, damn thing stalled at 180 and it still has to go in the cooler for an hour. My girlfriend got me the smoker for my birthday and thinks I'm nuts to wait up for it to finish.
Not that Im getting impatient or anything....
kinda thought 4.5lbs wouldn't take 12 hrs...!
