    Thanks. I got a little more done tonight befor the battery drill gave out. I have to drill some more holes, but I can choke it down to a portion of a 3/8" hole or open it up to wide open. I'm gonna keep drilling a wider pattern of holes the further the horseshoe is swung open. The shoe is...

    I got as far as I could today before the light faded. I still need to add the air vents to the door. The hinges are just basic barrel hinges so the door can be slid off when we want to sit by the fire.

    Got the oak put up this afternoon. The two on the left are maple and the oak is on the right. A boy at work has a hickory in his yard he wants cut down next week. I'll need some fruit wood to round it out.

    I'm waiting on a friend to build my steel door yet, but I've just been using bricks as a door for now. Other than that I'm done.

    Got that maple wood split and stacked today. I have a pile of oak I split too while I was at it, but didn't get it stacked yet.
