I don't think I will worry to much about the door right now.I can put a little bit of pressure on it and it seals OK.As for the firebox door..HUD i weld a bar along the inside of the door..to keep it from warping?

So I have done a little more work to it.Almost have the firebox done..ran out of metal.So I decided to do some more grinding.....really think my wife is starting to think I have a thing for the grinder..lol

I wish I would have taken into consideration the metal thickness when cutting out the firebox pieces.It would have saved alot of "quality" time spent on making it right Starting to make progress..slow going but trying to make it right....then the door decides to warp...
