New Braunfels ??
Bunk, Not sure which model you are describing, but I have used a New Braunfels Bandera for quite awhile (offset firebox, vertical smoke chamber). I've got a buddy that uses a NB Black diamond. He positions the meat at the far end of the smoke chamber away from the fire box and used lava rock...- homebrewru

Hi all, Thanks for the welcome. New Braunfels made the Bandera. Academy sports still has a few, but they are of poor quality. Brinkman Smoke King is very similar (like a mirror image). Good tip, Debi! I 've used alot of veg. oil on the thing over the years and it has helped. Georgia's climate...- homebrewru
