    I should have mentioned... it turned out phenomenal! Extremely tasty, I can only imagine how good it will be the next time when I put everything in that I had planned... though sometimes simple is sweet too.

    Well this weekend I took the plunge. My wife wanted ribs and smoked onions and I thought this would be a perfect time to try my hand at a fattie. I threw together a ground beef, gorganzola cheese, vidalia onions, and portabella mushrooms. Wrapped it all with bacon and hit it with a little garlic...

    Yes... Fall can not come soon enough. Can't wait to watch the sunrise on a crisp cold morning on the marsh. Better yet, how about a 35mph Northwest wind temps in the 20's and a little snow... oh yeah and the weather station saying the Dakota's are getting hit with 10 inches of snow... hehe

    I love waterfowl hunting, primarily ducks...and sharing the marsh and blind with you best 4 legged friend is something which I truly enjoy. I can't imagine life without my dogs, they are part of our family...though they don't get the BBQ :-)
