I could not find anything on Craigslist except for a guy who dismantled his 40yr old dairy barn.... Had to pass on that. I did locate a 4ft section at a plumbing shop.
Don't know why my photos rotated... I only have one more side to insulate and skin then I will install the baffle inside my FB. With our latest snowfall I have been tied up plowing folks driveways. Couple more driveways and I will have broke even on this build. I got a question about the 4in ID...
You would be hard pressed to find a home outside of the city that doesn't have one of those tanks sitting outside... Personally and it's only my opinion but I wouldn't use it because that fuel tends to be saturated into the metal like the pores on your skin... I may be wrong in my assumption...
I like the look of that paint. Was it a rattle can, brush or did you spray? As far as uploading photos I have been having problems with my photos loading up sideways so maybe I will load them directly from my phone. The counderweight that you have was there anything inside.
With this being my first build I'm trying to eliminate any possibility of problems just to be on the safe side. I want to have the wood sitting in a basket with would sit on rails inside. Take a look at the bottom of the FB, I have a 2.5in lip so my ashes will have to sit and I didn't want them...

This build has been very fun especially with all the support from the guys. I felt the door would do something strange so I cut the top horizontal line then cut the notches like Dave mentioned Squib had done. I wanted the flange to appear to have studs holding it on so I drilled hols in the...
I think I have no choice but to put it on a trailer so I can plow around it. Just had to mention sunny California.... It's 8 degrees today but we enjoy the cold as much as summers... Take a look at the build I'm doing. I got the top and sides of the door flange done but had to go to the hockey...
I like the look of that build.... Did you find that the FB end was somewhat balanced or not? I'm thinking I may have to put mine on a trailer not only because the FB is HEAVY but I'm going to have in excess of 3ft of snow in the yard....
Well guys I started on the CC door last night. I decided to cut the top first to see how much it would spring. I used the plasma cutter and it was like butter. The lid side raised about an eighth of an inch which wasn't too bad. I then measured out my flat bar and cut it. After looking at the...
