Came across one in bed bath n beyond 5 or 6 yrs ago. Absolutely the best for large brine projects. I smoke a lot of turkey legs for friends and family so it's nice being able to do it all in one container. Can't beat it for whole birds and roast.
Glad to hear they are good. Now I have to buy some this week. Questions, are they like refrigerator pickles to be kept in the fridge & do they soften up during fermentation?
I have to ask about this Hams Beer. Not sure I have ever seen this in South Louisiana. Certainly never had any. Anything special about this beer as far as flavor goes?
Last time I was there in 2006 we found a place called The Blue Lobster. It was either very good are the drunken condition gave a false sense of taste lol. I did enjoy the 2 days we were there before moving on to Cancun. Hope you have a great experience there.
