    Well that certainly doesn't sound good. I have one of those and sometimes I get an error message. But once I turn it off it comes back on working properly. Maybe check the input connections of the probes into the unit. Sorry to here about your problem.

    Hog casings?

    Sorry to see your loss. Try Butcher and Packer. You won't be sorry. I use them a lot and never had any problems. I was vey happy with last batch of casings properly packed and clean. No stinky smell that you sometimes get with other brands.
