    I made the sauce last weekend and it was great.  This weekend I put the whole batch through the blender to make it nice and smooth.  I don't know if it was "aging" in the fridge or blending it smooth but I think the sauce was even better this weekend.  I LOVE BBQ sauce and this might be my new...

    I think I could get the wife on board as long as I keep some killer Q (especially brisket) coming out, she'll be happy.  She's from TX and can't seem to find decent BBQ around here so she's on board so far with this smoker business!

    Thank you very much for all the photos and commentary.  I just bought a Char Griller, and if I would have read more on this forum, I think I might have tried to make a UDS first.  Don't know if the wife would have gone for it though.  I do however want to make one of these, they look so cool...

    First time questions

    Boy am I glad I read this thread.  I think I will buy some gloves before trying my first ABTs.  I don't think my 7 month old will appreciate chewing on my fingers after making a batch.  Could make for a long day without mom around :-)

    Q-View of my ABT's

    Those look awesome.  I like your recipe too, might borrow.  I bought some Jalapenos last weekend but ran out of time to make them.  It's been a long week sitting at work thinking about all the smoking I need to do this weekend, and I think ABTs are first on the list!

    Yes I did get them, and actually the SFB was only ~$25 so I got the whole setup for less than $100.  I'm just trying to figure out how to post photos into my thread so they show up.
