Wow! What a nice looking build! Love the corner radius on the side shelves. It's the small details like this (along with others) that really make this build stand out

    Short/Fat 120 Gallon Build

My drain tube goes all the way up to my RF plate. Yes I was able to bend it easily but not by hand (I jumped on it). If you set it on blocks on the floor just a tad higher than what you want it to drop, it works pretty good. It will bend right where you score it. Crude but it worked Lol

New 120 Gallon Build and Grate Question

Good morning reccitron. I have that exact size tank for mine. If you search "short/fat 120 gallon build" I have most of my numbers in there. As for the door I know I'm less than 12:00 at the top. In my opinion you shouldn't need to go that high because you want airflow above anyways. And your...

    Short/Fat 120 Gallon Build

Hey pat. I just wanted to add to my last post. Right now I am smoking some cheese Now I am truly convinced you don't need a flap or dampener between the FB and CC. It's holding temps steady at 80 deg left to right. I'm a true believer in DaveOmak's calculator.

Smoke stack For 250 gal RF smoker

Good morning smaloof. I have 6-5/8" OD stainless pipe for mine with 1/8" wall. Your 9 ga is about .150 wall. Mine works really well. I would think this would work just fine no problems. Of course guys with multiple builds might be able to tell you advantages of it being thicker?

    Short/Fat 120 Gallon Build

Hi Pat I too have seen a couple builds with a damper between the FB and CC. I DON'T have one. After running mine, I found it's so easy to control temps, I'm not sure a person would gain anything by adding one. Hope this helps. Take care

    Short/Fat 120 Gallon Build

Thanks Dave. Two things... Yes the members here are awesome! I couldn't (wouldn't) have tackled this on my own without everyone's help. Thank you!! And yes thin blue smoke does make some great food! It's so easy to make a correctly burning fire with this, I haven't even fired up my little one...

Newbie 120 Gal Trailer Build (Advice Sought)

Hi BraveSirRobin. I really think it'll be fine. In mine, my fire doesn't even come close to the sides of the FB. No ash should collect that far to the side. And this way your air is coming in from under the fire. Looks great so far!

    Short/Fat 120 Gallon Build

Good morning Pat. My inside dimensions are 24-1/2" W 22" D 22" H If I had to do it again I think I would add a couple inches on the bottom to incorporate some kind of ash pan. Certainly not a deal breaker without one but just for convenience. Hope this helps!
