Lake of the Ozarks new 250 Reverse Flow build NOOB NEEDS HELP !!!

I am amazed at how fast this is coming together. Hate to see the beer bill that keeps all of the help around. Are the racks going to slide out? I made mine slide out, makes it a lot easier to get big briskets in and out. Can't wait to see it shine and all pimpep out.

New project reverse flow with extra box over fire box

I really like the way you are not afraid to think out of the box. Try it and if it does not work, change it and try again. Mine has undergone a few changes to improve it since I built it. Looks like you have good fabrication skills, nice clean build. Can't waiy to see how the trailer comes out.

RF Build In Slow Motion (Sinks are done!)

Maybe your weather people are off on the prediction and you can still get some paint on it. Here in Kansas City, they can't seem to get the afternoon weather right that they forcast in the morning. Looking great so far. Can't wait to see some paint.

RF Build In Slow Motion (Sinks are done!)

I can't believe I haven't seen this build till today. Using phone too much instead of computer, I guess. Sure is looking great. I had to fix my warped door also. I used a chain, a large turnbuckle, some 4x4's, and a persuader. I never thought a weed burner would get the metal hot enough, or I...

    Metal cutters "HELP"

If you have a Harbor Freight store nearby, they sell cutoff discs to fit skillsaws. Works pretty good, but louder than hell. Wear ear and eye protection, and long sleeves, the sparks are murder. Push it through the metal just like wood. You have to go slow, but will get the job done. Good luck.

    Lurking around Wichita.

Welcome aboard. Grew up in Wichita and been in Kansas City almost 9 years. Used to be some really good BBQ joints in Wichita, but they died when the owners did. I will agree with you that Kansas City is the BBQ capitol. Glad to have you and enjoy the site.

Charcoal Basket for Side Fire Box

Hi and welcome King Tut. Glad to have another Kansas City member. The bigger you can make your basket the better. Make it as big as you can and still be able to remove it. You will want it so it is easy to load and refuel. Also for ash removal, how to get it in or out. If you have a door on...
