Ok, this is a recipe i made up this year. tried it a few times and really like it.
1 Large container of seedless Cherries with stems (can be ones with seeds removed)
1 5th of Cap'n Morgan rum
1 container of caramel (to be melted)
1 container of chocolate (to be melted, i used dark chocolate...

bypass dog ... check
plate of food ... failed check
darn! it looks like it all got ate
the beans turned out real good to ... not sure on the exact recipe ... ya know ... little of this, some more of that .. till they smell right .. but here is what was mixed in

i finally did it! not only did it all look good ... but it tasted good enough that there is none left (other then the ones still in the cooler, which my kid does not know about shhhhh)
only problem i have now .. is it's hard to move from the chair ...
ya know, if i could keep the postman from eatin it .. i would give the mail a try.. hehe
meat is in the cooler right now ... just stirrin the beans a little.. in about 30 more min they should be ready ... then will star to unwrap some of the beef and pork and see if i passed or failed this time...
ok, heres the pic finally ... beans are nothin special ... just a big can of bushes .. with some diced up onions, mustard, brown sugar, ketsup, black pepper.. and a few other things added ...

i will say all the information i have gathered from here .. has changed how i smoke and grill .. thats for sure ... =) now, if i could just get my smoke where it doesn't get out of control on me ... but i think some of that is my setup i am using .. got to figure a way to adjust the side inlet a...
i have noticed, that making a 'screen' of sorts to deflect some of the heat off the meat near the side box has made a huge difference so far ... all of the meats seem to be cooking about evenly ...
after i cut them, each one ended up about 2.5 lbs .. so prob in another 2 to 3 hours they will...
well i figured it was time to give another go at smoking ... been buying up meats around town when they are on sale (pork butts for .99 lb, and brisket for 1.99 lb is about cheapest i have found) i had to cut the stuff up a little to fit on my small smoker .. but that just means it won't take...
i have a batch of the rub mixed up waiting to go on some pig butt and brisket that i will be firing up first thing in the morning .... (gotta feed my smoker and never have managed to stay up all night heh)
