I'm a Jim Beam drinker. Really enjoy the 7 year, especially on the rocks. Defiant is good. . It is a small distillery in North Carolina that makes a great Whisky that goes good on the rocks.
Still got some tinkering to do with it. My main issue is I still use my smoker as a grill, My weber charcoal is just not big enough to do everything I like to do. I am just not a gas cooker, even though I just picked up a weber Q for free. Gotta get some gas and try it out. Sad I have nevered...
Dinner This evening. Turkey with garlic, onions and green peppers in pan. smoked potatoes. sweet peas. Turned out good.
Also smoked some sliced bolgna and hot dogs I am not used to taking pics. so didn;t get any before kids ate them.
Tossed some jalapenos on to see how they turned out smoked...
Added a plate near the exhaust stack. Gonna smoke a turkey tomorrow to try it out. Will post pic of mod and turkey tomorrow. One mod at a time to see. The problem is I use my smoker as a grill as well. Don't want to do much that will cause me to lose grilling surface.
