Sounds like a good plan. I forget how tender some mouths are.

    Smoke an Egg Casserole?

I think it's a good idea. A pellet grill doesn't overwhelm with smoke flavor. I'd smoke the veggies first till tender crisp. Maybe some Siracha in the egg mixture.

I bet you put on the miles. I had about half of ND, some SD, and a bit of MT. A 500 mi day was common.

    Dutch's beans

Like you, we're empty nesters. I will make a test half batch over the holidays and freeze what we can't eat for later.

    Dutch's beans

I appreciate it. I've been reading the rave reviews for months now. We have a small reunion at the family farm this summer, and I've been collecting smoker recipes for it.

    Dutch's beans

Thank you! I see where I was confused. The title of the recipe is Wicked Baked Beans. I was too big a dummy to look that it was posted by Dutch.

    Dutch's beans

Can anyone give me the recipe link to Dutch's beans? I'm probably missing something obvious, but my searches haven't come up with the actual recipe.

Prime Rib, cook roast & Ribs seperate

They are way too good for soup. We keep the ribs tied on the roast while cooking, and fight over them after separating each rib.

    First Brisket/ Anniversary Dinner

Good job on the brisket. Those UDS type smokers do a good job with little fire tending.

I don't believe you will get higher temps than you are now. They weren't engineered to give high sear temps. I had a Traeger for years. Used it for longer, lower temp cooks. For a fast and high sear, I used a Weber kettle.
