    So, as someone very new to the smf I have to ask, how do you get the filling in the fattie? I have just smoked the fattie with a rub on the outside and no filling. Do you core it or roll it flat and fill then re-roll? Very interesting and looks fantastic.

    Thanks to everyone for the great welcome. A few weeks ago I did not have any idea what a fattie was or what ABT stood for. Now I have smoked both of these and in fact combined them. This weekend I ran out of little smokies to put in the ABT's so I substituted a piece of a cajun ABT. Seems...

    I have been getting the SM newsletter for a year now and only recently found this forum last week. I have already learned several things. I use a Bradley smoker and have only been smoking food for about a year. I am excited to learn more so I can treat my Idaho friends.
