Hey Bear,
Thanks for the like and your generous comment.
I imagine that your angled slits probably have the same affect as the spiral, and take less time and care in cutting.
I think I'll try your way next time.
Hey Ryan,
Thanks for your comment, and the laugh got reading about taking them to the doctors office and testing his willpower.
I hope you make them Robert. I'll keep an eye out for your post.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for the like. I would realy like to hear how your take on these turns out. I can imagine that they will be much improved with higher quality ingredients, and your attention to detail.
Hey Sven,
Thanks for the like. I believe that I first saw the spiral cut hot dog on "The Smoke Ring" smoking forum probably 15 to 20 years ago. I cut the dogs on a large cutting board with a long and quite sharp "slicer". Here's a picture that shows how I started out spiral cutting. I no...
Thanks for the laugh Gary.
While reading; I was thinking, where on earth are you going to find all of those traits in one woman? The last line brought enlightenment, and in my experience proves very true.
Rinsing meat, especially chicken, is a good way to spread germs all over your sink, if not the whole kitchen. Then you have to dry it, at least to some extent, risking further spreading of bacteria.

Hi Bill, Welcome aboard from NC.
Are you using the trays to put your meat on? Sorry for my confusion.
I just put food on my smoker grates and let the mess happen. After smoking I use a weed burning propane torch to clean the grates. Ain't no nasty going to survive that inferno and my meat...
Thanks for the remoulade sauce recipe Kieth. Did you buy the shrimp head on, or headed? Just curious about price diff between your area and here in NC.
Do you let the shrimp cool before making the wraps? I assume so.
Do you season the shrimp, when cooking, for this recipe?
Sounds like a...
Yea; Don't be afraid to talk money. I'm already jealous cause good meaty beef ribs are unobtaniam around here, so you can't hurt my feelings any more by talking price.
Thanks and likes to 3rd eye and JCam for great info.
I spent years trying to find the hot dog love I knew as a kid. Never did find it till I lucked into spiral cut dogs 10 or 12 years ago.
It's the only way I care to have them now.
Thanks for the like Chop.
Boy; That sounds good to me. It's a little early yet for fresh tomato's up here in NC.
BLT's and Tomato pies coming soon.
I save my Doc the stress by not telling him everything. :emoji_wink:
