You'll love it. I got the VP215 and it is a beast. I bought a rolling stainless steel table to put mine on. Too heavy to carry around like most of my equipment.
I slice it about 3/16 inch, marinade it for a couple of days and put in my excalibur dehydrator at the highest setting165 i think. I have never checked the temp with a probe. I let it go for 6.5 hours per the timer on the dehydrator and put in a paper bag in the fridge for a day or two.
My wife uses turbo tax, there is a cost to us but I don't know what it is. She like it and says it's easy to use. We have to pay for it because I have 1099's.
