    Cajun is right on the money. Most recipes seem to be for the 12" Dutch Ovens. If you want to cook over coals, then look for one with legs! I later added a larger one to my collection to make bigger pots of soups. Cabelas has a great selection. Keep asking if you have other questions.

    Goat, It pleases me that you think so! So many people have commented on this as being a "Carolina thing", or refer to it as a BBQ sauce of sorts ....... It aint SO people. This is not a smother in vinager & 'cover' sauce, its right on the money. Dont forget, YOU have control over the amount...

    Hawg, The only other thing that I can think to ask, or take notice of, would be the firebox lays right on the trailer floor. How hot would that area of the trailer get if touched by your (or someoneelses) hands or legs? Just a thought ......... I LOVE the price ...... and your right about it...

    you'll be fine with an electric, your right .... it may take a bit longer as you anticipate, but not too much, you should not need to baste as much with the electric. your brined gobbler will be moist, thru & thru. let us know how it turns out.

    I havent used stainless as a griddle, but love my cast iron griddle. No hot spots, it evenly distributes and holds heat great, pre-seasoned, easy maintance etc. Got mine from Cabelas for a $39. It's double sided, one w/ ridges for grilling, and a flat side with grease catch...
