A drum I can actually use

Hey y'all, is check-in out the barrel and came to realize the lid won't fit inside the drum. How do y'all recommend I prep the lid then for smoking? Thanks y'all, Josh.

A drum I can actually use

One other thing. I have two 18" grill grates from the Brickman I decided not to use. Would those make a good foundation for charcoal baskets? Thanks a million, Josh.

A drum I can actually use

Thanks y'all, very helpful. I'll be posting pics as I move along. One question. I'm not sure if I should go with just a ball valve and a couple nipples, or if I should go with risers? Then there's magnets, ha-ha. Just not sure the best road for the intakes.

A drum I can actually use

Hey y'all. I finally found my drum. I had to take an extra half hour lunch break, but yeah. $25 got me a brand new unlined drum, clean with a lid that has a pair of bung holes. Looking forward to converting it into a smoker. Thanks, Josh.

    Cheap/easy fire "box"

I got a question for ya bud. If you use brickets, do you have any issues with to much ash building up in the pizza pan to cause problems, especially during long smokes? Thanks, Josh.

    Brickman smoke n grill

So as y'all can see, is pretty rusty. What do y'all recommend I use to remove the rust? I'll probably just replace the grates as they are pretty rusty themselves. Should I replace the hardware? Thanks Josh

I haven't had a chance to take any interior shots yet. Yeah it's a solid plan. Maybe I'll do the drilling holes method. Thanks man. Josh.
