    Thanks for the reply, I will take a look at them also before I make by purchase. I also appreciate the honest response about your smoker and glad you was able to get working good for you but you are correct I am not really wanting to have to modify the smoker I buy a lot to make it work.

    I am actually leaning towards a propane smoker simply because I dont want to have to have it plugged in to use it. I took a further look at the forums and seen there are a few good options just basically not sure what a good beginner smoker with less hassle would be, I wont really be smoking...
