Yea I will probably add I water pan in somewhere. Once I get the reverse flow pan and the shelves in I will see where I have extra room. Thanks for the comments subvet. I realize the handle is too close. It was a temporary solution to get me through the next few weeks. Had an exciting day! Got a few loose ends buttoned up and brought her home for a few weeks. Was able to get the first burn in going tonight. No signs of major warping. A little in the main door but nothing that will cause problems. Still missing the reverse flow plate and all the accessories...- gmasterpfautz

Got the cutout for the firebox done and the frame welded on. I made the frame, tacked it on, and used a cutting disk to mark out the frame on the tank. Oooo I like that! I could add a piece of angle under the back of the trailer then mount the oval ones in. The angles would keep them from getting crushed if the trailer gets tipped back too far (its pretty close to the ground so it wouldnt take much). Haha burn holes and welding boogers! Its funny how fast thats what you associate with working with metal. And the smell of metal embedded in your skin after grinding. Thanks subvet! I plan to add stops once I have a better idea of the handle configuration. For now I will take your advice and just move the lights back. Thanks Frosty. I'm really happy with how its coming together. Oh I'm sorry... I meant heat sink when I said shielding. I'm thinking a bent piece of sheet metal that covers the top and side of the light.I'm kind of skeptical as to if that will be sufficient.- gmasterpfautz

Cut the notch out of the trailer so the smoker could sit closer to the side then did a lil fab to make it look cleaner. How does the location look.
