Here's the rest of the Qview from the first smoke. I definetly overcooked the ribs but they were still edible and the butts were a tad dry but still good. My mistake was thinking I didnt need to wrap them like I dont need to in the small electric smoker. Lesson learned. Enjoy!- gmasterpfautz

She's finally home (actually shes been home for a few hours)! The butts still had the skin and back fat on so I removed them since I wasnt sure if I was supposed to leave them on or not. There it is! Isnt it beautiful!? Picked it up from the blaster today ($60 for grates and everything), painted it (with the much appreciated help from Cororumrex) with some rust-oleum high temp paint, and atttached the gages and the handle. I'm pretty sure the orifice was fine... I just opened up the air holes too large trying to get a better burn. It looks like my burner is 6-12" longer than yours which is why I thought my holes needed to be larger than you called out in your thread. Wow Monday was HOT!! Got a few small things done. Fab'd the grate and burner for the grill. I got the propane tube burner concept from here. I prefer buying whatever I can from Amazon so I bought this regulator instead. Same specs... 10 psi and 1/8" npt thread orifice (even though it says 1/4")...- gmasterpfautz

I was on a pretty good roll this week until the mig welder ran out of shielding gas. I was in the process of installing the rear reverse flow panels and the welds started to spit like crazy. I think the end is in sight! I think I listed what we had to do yet the other week. I got the front half of the reverse flow pan welded in. It all fit together just as planned. Balance shouldn't be an issue with the addition of the grill towards the front of the trailer. At least that's what I'm hoping. If we have to move the axle later we could unbolt the smoker and slide the axle back.- gmasterpfautz
