Yeah I carried 1 of my hog leg 45 colts a couple weeks ago while hiking. I forget just how heavy a 6 six shooter can get when walking for miles.

Yeah that is what is frustrating. These are not the best bags, but dang they were still expensive for what they are.

Yeah that vac sealer is brand new & with these bags. It like the machine don't even work. They don't even try to vac down.
They are thicker bags...
Guys & gals I broke down & bought me a vac sealer to save more on food & to preserve my foods.
Is there a dang reason why these bags don't vac & seal.
Out of the 12 1quart bags I used ONLY 3 of them actually vacuumed down & sealed.
Is there something I'm missing or are these just junk bags...
Yeah my store still has paper bags, but they only give them out when you buy ice cream.
If you want paper bags only at my store they charge you for them unless you buy ice scream.
Thanks. Yeah a day in the fridge in a bag or even a day in vac seal bag makes a huge difference on texture sometimes.

Well took me 8hrs to smoke these snack sticks.
Most of them temped at 152°-153°f IT.
Few of the sticks temped at 149°-151°f time I got to them with temp probe.
Hopefully they will be OK.
I seem to got a good smoke on them & they taste great.
I'm happy.
Yeah I had to put about 10 snack sticks in the main chamber to smoke & they cooked too quick. Was only in cooker for 2-2.5hours.
They hit a IT of 155°-159°f before I caught them. They are good, but not enough smoke.
