I did not only due to how high I was running IT. The membrane keeps the ribs from falling apart and doesn't effect the taste any. I have taken it off in past cooks and it worked good too. I think it comes down to personal preference and time.
I wrapped them at IT 179 with double layer of foil and put back on smoker, cranked temp to 300. Ran until probe tender and IT was 203. Pulled them and let rest 20 mins.

Final product. These were fantastic! The flavor was on point but I would have liked to have ran them a bit longer for more smoke flavor but all in all these were great!
Picked up some beef back ribs and decided to throw them on for dinner tonight. Smoking them at 200 for a few hours before turning up and then wrapping towards the end.
